Annas Apartments in Benitses, on the Island of Corfu Greece

The legend says that Benitsa got its name from one’s pirate ship, who was extremely amazed by the landscape and sea beauty. Benitsa, was rapidly transformed from a famous fish village, into a tourist resort initiating the tourist development of the island itself and the whole Greece in general.

Benitses lies in the south side of the island, built by the sea, with graphic streets, traditional houses, the Main Square, shops, coffee places, taverns and clubs where you can enjoy night life and tasty Corfu recipes. Every morning the local fishermen sell the fresh fish that they have just fish with their old fashioned fish boats.

The one thousand inhabitants of the village are consequently searching for new ways in order to develop their village without neglecting the environment and their tradition. The well – organized coast with the blue flag and graphic port, was transformed into a modern shelter for small boats, is just one sample of the improvement in the village.

In the area of eight acres are two buildings, built amphitheatrically. The first is in Corfu architectural style, in green and egg - shell and the other in white and green blue color. The place is full of olive trees, orange trees and lemon trees all in flora.

All the apartments have view of the endless blue of the Ionian Sea and the absolute beauty of Corfu nature. From your balcony you are able to watch the sunrise that will certainly captivate you, while at night the moon will accompany you. From the other side of the apartment you can be pleasantly astonished by the mountain of Agioi Deka because it offers you an environment that matches nicely sea and mountain.

If you like hiking you can visit the chapels of Vagelistras and Taxiarhi that look as if they are climbed on the mountain. The lack of any city noise will help you relax while the feeling of the countryside will charge your batteries. Your children can play and move around in total safety. There is enough parking space for your car although you can also use the bus, the bus stop is only 300 meters from the facilities.

From there you can go to: Benitses (1.5 klm), Corfu town (14klm), and all the main villages and coasts of the island. All south coasts have sandy beaches and crystal waters like the coast Issos, Marathias, Prasoydi, Halikounas with its lake and its natural life resort. The location where the apartments are, is called, “Tsaki of Benitses”, has a distance of 1500m.

Only from the center of the village where you can find stores, taverns, chemist, nursery but also night life with clubs and coffee shops. Walking for 300m. you reach the nearest restaurant and in 400m the Mini Market for all your everyday shopping. Parking space, BBQ, basketball court, garden air conditioning, TV, safety deposits. Cleaning of the apartment takes place twice a week while full replacement of bed linen is made. (Mrs Anna, the owner, is all day there in order to make your accommodation as comfortable as possible).

Studio (for two or three) One bedroom with two comfortable beds, wardrobe and private balcony with a wonderful view over the bay, bathroom plus shower and kitchen with full equipment, (refrigerator, electrical kitchen with two electrical hobs). In some of the studios there is also a third bed.

Apartments that can accommodate up to four people: One bedroom apartment with large living room. The bedroom contains two comfortable beds, wardrobe, and private balcony with a wonderful view over the bay, the living room, two beds – couches, wardrobe and coffee table. Kitchen has full equipment (refrigerator, electrical kitchen with two hobs), bathroom plus shower. All areas of the apartments are sunny.
